The movie focuses on a woman with a terminal illness. She’s ready to die, but she wants to get her family together for one last time. Not everyone is happy about the decision, and this is a journey for each family member as well as the matriarch of the family.

Blackbird is available on DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 3.

3. Schitt’s Creek: The Complete Collection

The last TV series on the list is the biggest comedy to come out of Canada. After its sweep at the Emmys, there’s no way you can miss out on Schitt’s Creek: The Complete Collection. Sure, the entire season is on Netflix right now, but how long is that going to be the case? Netflix doesn’t have eternal exclusive rights!

All six seasons are included on this heartfelt comedy. For those who haven’t heard about it somehow, it’s about a family that loses everything. Now pennyless, they realize just how awful they were and focus on changing themselves for the better.
