The three best anime series to watch for newcomers on Amazon Prime Video

Japanese anime has been around for many years, dating back to 1906. Not having access to film, the first animation pictures were drawn on stills and moved across a white panel. Since then it has evolved one thousandfold with the latest CGI, while still keeping elements that are true to Japanese anime.

People new to the style often judge the quality against Westernised animation, which with all due respect shouldn’t be the case.  Anime is unique to Japan and somewhat has its own identity with the slightest glance you can tell where the TV show or movie hails from. With anime now reaching to all corners of the globe and viewers being able to access content that has never been seen before, this allows the imagination of viewers and creators to run free.

If you are not a newcomer to Japanese anime that’s fine too, but for those who are not familiar with the Japanese or eastern style, it can portray some graphic scenes and sensitive material that may make viewing uncomfortable.

So here are the top three anime that we at Amazon Adviser suggest you watch currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
