Vikings Season 6, Part 1 coming to DVD in October 2020

Watch the penultimate 10 episodes of Vikings on DVD in October

It shouldn’t be too long before we’re gearing up for the final episodes of Vikings. Before we do that, you need to rewatch Vikings Season 6, Part 1. The good news is the DVD release date is set for October 2020.

There isn’t that long to wait now. Vikings Season 6, Part 1 will be on both DVD and Blu-ray from Oct. 13, 2020. You can right now, pre-order either version from Amazon grabbing the Price Guarantee as you do it. The prices have already dropped by about $5 each, so you’ll want to make sure you lock in whatever the lowest price is up to the release date.

Those with an Amazon Prime membership have some excellent news. The show is currently available to stream for free with your Prime membership. All 10 episodes from Vikings Season 6 are part of the line-up.

Of course, this could change in the future. It’s why it’s worth buying the DVD or even just the Digital version so you always have access to your favorite shows.

What to expect on Vikings Season 6, Part 1

The first 10 episodes of the final season picked up six months after the Season 5 finale with Bjorn as King of Kattegat. Ivar had been overthrown thanks to his wife Freydis.

Bjorn doesn’t find ruling easy. He needs support from people he can trust, but there aren’t many of them about. In fact, he can’t even turn to his mother, Lagertha, who was previously ruler of the place. It seems she has her own plans that could work against her own son.

Meanwhile, Ivar needs to find a way to get back to Kattegat and reclaim his throne. He turns to Kiev, but things may not be all that simple there.
