What to expect on Vikings Season 6, Part 1
The first 10 episodes of the final season picked up six months after the Season 5 finale with Bjorn as King of Kattegat. Ivar had been overthrown thanks to his wife Freydis.
Bjorn doesn’t find ruling easy. He needs support from people he can trust, but there aren’t many of them about. In fact, he can’t even turn to his mother, Lagertha, who was previously ruler of the place. It seems she has her own plans that could work against her own son.
Meanwhile, Ivar needs to find a way to get back to Kattegat and reclaim his throne. He turns to Kiev, but things may not be all that simple there.
