Alias

Part of what will draw you to Hanna is the element of spy work. Hanna becomes a spy, while the girls in the facility are training to be spies. It only makes sense that you want something that offers something similar. Well, it’s time to turn to a TV show of the past.

Alias is one of the best shows like Hanna on this list because it’s so similar. Sydney Bristow learns that the agency she works for is a counter-government unit. She wants to take that unit down so joins the CIA as a double agent. It’s a dangerous game, but one she’s more than willing to play.

The show really was ahead of the times. It proved that women in lead roles work. Women are master spies, and so often underestimated that it makes us stronger and far more powerful behind the scenes.

Sydney is just like a female James Bond or Jason Bourne. She is a master of disguise, taking on whichever job she’s needed for next.

There are also plenty of episodes to check out. Alias has five seasons of around 22 episodes each. I saw around because there are 105 episodes in total, so some seasons are slightly shorter. It’s well worth the time.
