The Peanut Butter Falcon

On the surface, The Peanut Butter Falcon can look like a questionable movie. When you watch the trailer, you realize that it’s going to be one of the most heartfelt movies you’ve ever watched.

Zak is a 22-year-old man with Down syndrome. He has just one dream in life: to become a professional wrestler. When his residential care home won’t let him follow that dream, he decides to escape.

Meanwhile, Tyler is a selfish and arrogant young man who accidentally ends up meeting Zak. At first, he wants to leave Zak behind, but he realizes that Zak needs him—and little does he know, but he needs Zak. The two head out on an adventure of laughter and tears, with Tyler becoming Zak’s greatest ally.

How about a movie starring Vince Vaughn and Liam Hemsworth? Arkansas is about a couple of low-end drug dealers who decide to start skimping off the boss they’ve never met. Of course, when you’re taking money from a crime boss, you know it’s going to cause trouble.

On the latest drug run, they make a series of mistakes that could have some deadly consequences, and not necessarily just for them. Will the two be able to get out of trouble and take down the big boss?

While not the best of the Amazon movies on the list, it’s got a great balance of humor, grittiness, and action. It’s on Amazon Prime Video now.
