What’s new on Amazon Prime Video this weekend, July 18-19?
There’s not much coming to Amazon Prime Video this weekend, July 18-19
We have another quiet weekend on Amazon Prime Video. There isn’t much new on the streaming service between July 18 and 19.
The good news is that Absentia Season 3 is now on Amazon Prime Video. I know this is the most highly anticipated arrival of the month for many, so it probably doesn’t matter that there isn’t much else that’s new on the streaming service.
The third season picks up with Emily at the end of her suspension from the FBI. As she gets ready to go back, what could possibly go wrong? Maybe we shouldn’t ask that question!
Marianne & Leonard: Words Of Love is new on Prime Video
The only new arrival drops on Sunday, July 19. Titled Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love, the movie is a documentary, looking at the love between Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen. Ihlen was Cohen’s muse throughout his career.
Nick Broomfield takes us through the relationship, starting with the early days in Greece. We’ll get a look at not just how Ihlen became Cohen’s muse, but how Cohen became the successful musician he is known as.
At the heart of it is the endearing love story between the two. It’s not to be missed.
What to look forward to on Amazon Prime Video
Of course, there are still some great new arrivals to come in July. Whether you want a movie or a comedy special, these are the big releases to look forward to during the rest of the month.
- Radioactive (July 24)
- Jim Gaffigan: The Pale Tourist (July 24)
- Animal Kingdom Season 4 (July 29)
