Hanna Season 2 premiere recap: Introducing The Meadows

John Carmichael doesn’t trust Marissa

Marissa has healed from the gunshot to her leg. At the same time, John Carmichael is trying to figure out what happened at the previous facility. He’s sure that Marissa killed Sawyer to help save Hanna. Marissa refuses to give anything away.

One thing they do find out is that Clara saw her birth mother. John and Marissa are sure that Clara will go looking for her mother, so they need to make something up since they don’t think Clara’s birth mother is even still alive. They need to lure Clara in, which is exactly what they do.

They set up a trap to capture Clara and take her to The Meadows.

John does agree to leave Hanna alone. However, is that really the case? Of course not! He sends soldiers to the cabin the Romanian family had stayed despite knowing Clara was on her way to Bucharest to find her mom. It was clear he knew Hanna would head there.

In gunfire, the cabin is blown up with Hanna inside, and John is sure Hanna is dead. She’d just looked at the toilet in the cabin, so clearly she headed there for safety. Hanna gets to the mother and daughter who “helped” Clara to find out where Clara went.

John finishes up by offering Marissa a chance to work at The Meadows. Will she take it? When she realizes that Hanna is actually still alive, there’s a chance Marissa will but to work with Hanna to save Clara.
