Most sold nonfiction Amazon books last week: Focused on events in the world
June 7-13’s most sold nonfiction Amazon books
Books focused on race, discussing race, and COVID-19 rose to the top of the list of most sold nonfiction Amazon books. It’s clear that the events of the world are the things people want to understand and learn about.
White Fragility held onto the top spot, after claiming it the previous week. It had knocked Glennon Doyle’s Untamed from the top spot last week, which lost another eight spots this week. That’s not surprising when the likes of How to Be an Antiracist, So You Want to Talk About Race, and Me and White Supremacy moved up the list.
In fact, So You Want to Talk About Race was one of the bigger movers up the list during the week. The biggest was Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates, which gained 11 spots. It’s not surprising the book moved up the list considering it was one of the most highly recommended on social media in the most recent weeks.
There were also plenty of new additions throughout the week. Unreported Truths About COVID-19 and Lockdowns entered the list in third place, making it clear that readers are still concerned about the coronavirus continuing to sweep the world. Ibram X. Kendi had a second book on the list, Stamped from the Beginning, entering just within the Top 10.
In fact, Kendi appeared on the list a third time. This time, it was with Jason Reynolds with the book Stamped.
The list of books is certainly important. They’re more than worth buying if you haven’t got them already.
