White Fragility claims the top spot of most read nonfiction Amazon books

It shouldn’t be too surprising that books about white fragility and racism have made it to the list of most read nonfiction Amazon books of the week. Two have even led to Michelle Obama’s Becoming to lose two spaces on the list.

White Fragility by Robin J. Diangelo claimed the top spot on the list for the first time. It’s not all that surprising as it did become the most popularly recommended book for white people to read.

How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi took a spot on the list of most sold fiction books, too. It’s another important book for the current climate. Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad also grabbed a spot on the list. It shouldn’t be surprising to hear that all three books made it to the list of most sold nonfiction books the previous week, and I did predict they’d be on this list this week.

While there are many books focused on the Black Lives Matter movement, there is also a new entry focused on COVID-19. Unreported Truths About COVID-19 and Lockdowns by Alex Berenson made it to the list in 13th place. It could be something for many to read as lockdowns around the world start to ease off.

The Decision by Kevin Hart saw the largest movement on the list. With so many new books, the Audible Original dropped seven places on the list.
