Our eyes are currently on the release of 13 Reasons Why Season 4 on DVD and Blu-ray. When is this likely to happen?

It’s not an if but a when. The first two seasons are already on DVD and Blu-ray. While Season 3 isn’t yet available, there’s a chance that it will happen soon. Most releases are around 11-12 months after the release of the season on Netflix, so there’s still a couple of months to reach that for Season 3.

Most seasons of Netflix Originals aren’t released until the newer season is out anyway. This encourages people to stream on Netflix. However, as a Paramount produced series, a DVD and Blu-ray release is common. So, we should expect 13 Reasons Why Season 4 to come to DVD.

When will 13 Reasons Why Season 4 be on DVD?

We’re looking at about 12 months from the series’s release on Netflix. This suggests that we’ll have to wait until June 2021 for the season to get the DVD and Blu-ray treatment.

It’s possible that’s how long we’ll wait for it to head to Digital, too. The idea is that Netflix wants to keep the show as exclusive to the service as possible.

With this being the final season, there’s a chance 13 Reasons Why: The Complete Series will be released. It’s hard to tell if this will happen as many Netflix Originals don’t head to DVD and Blu-ray to set a precedent.

While met with controversy, 13 Reasons Why Season 4 does wrap up four seasons of storylines. It’s not the happy ending many fans hoped for when it came to some characters, but it’s real and it’s raw; and sometimes that’s exactly what TV shows need to be.
