Poldark’s final season impresses
Wrapping a series is never going to be easy. The good thing about Poldark Season 5 is that there was plenty of material to follow. As much as we didn’t want the show to be over, it ended the way it should. There wasn’t the risk of moving on with the children’s storylines, something that Vikings on HISTORY has tried.
Admittedly, there were moments the season did feel a little rushed. Maybe a couple of more episodes could have helped. Because of that, we do have to admit that it moves a little further down the list than it originally started.
However, the thing about the final season is that we get to assess the whole series. That’s something I’ve considered when ranking, as many shows are canceled abruptly. We get a complete story from start to end the way the writers intended.
Overall, the viewers weren’t happy but Poldark Season 5 is a critical success with an 86% approval rating and rated Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. At least it’s nothing like the Game of Thrones final season!
