2. How deep will Lewis get with the mob?
Lewis made a dangerous choice. He had to choose one enemy to get rid of another. After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that.
It was great to see Brad Garrett in a serious role. I’m so used to watching him in comedies. However, him being in this role didn’t instill me with confidence that Lewis is going to be safe. The mob will want something for helping Lewis with the Nazi problem.
So, how deep will Lewis be forced to get? What does it mean for the case? More importantly, can this end any other way than Lewis’s death?
1. How will the video come back to haunt everyone?
Alex wasn’t happy that Councilman Townsend was starting to lose the support of the council for the highway. It’s not that the highway won’t be made, but that it won’t go through the area that has become home to the Mexican-Americans. Councilwoman Beck found a way that only adds four minutes to the journey and the rest of the council is happy about that.
So to deal with that and the fact that Townsend can’t stop meeting up with male prostitutes, Alex arranged for Townsend to be picked up b the Gestapo drive. This guy has admitted he’s “a lot of things,” which includes gay by the looks of things. However, it’s also likely that he’s happy to pretend to be gay to trap Townsend with the video.
This video isn’t going to stay quiet, is it? One of Townsend’s enemies is sure to get it. Will it be Beck, Lewis, or someone else completely?
