8. Who did Nathan call?

Nathan said that he used up all 2gb of data to make some calls. We don’t get to know yet who he called, but is there a chance that’s coming in Upload Season 2? Was one of the calls to Bryon to get him to protect Nora? How about a call to Nora’s dad?

There’s also the chance that he made a call to Jamie. Did he tell Jamie the truth about what selling the code? Maybe he recognized the guy who was trying to kill Nora and made calls to Jamie and his mom about that. After all, if Nora is in trouble, there’s a chance that Jamie and Nora are too.

7. Was Freeyond created with Nathan’s code?

Freeyond is not Beyond. It’s run by Ingrid’s father. All hints point to this being the code that Nathan and Jamie were working on, but there didn’t seem to be any anger from Jamie about Freeyond being released.

In fact, Jamie doesn’t seem all that bothered about it. That would suggest that Jamie never thought that Nathan could have sold out.

Is it possible that Nathan eventually felt bad about considering selling the code? Maybe someone actually stole the code and killed Nathan because of it. I get the sense that Freeyond and Nathan’s murder are connected.
