3. Supernatural

There’s absolutely no way that you can watch The Boys and skip out on Supernatural. And there is one big reason for this: Eric Kripke.

Eric Kripke is the mastermind behind Supernatural. There is so much of him thrown into this series, and despite leaving as showrunner at the end of the fifth season, he is still highly supportive of it. He continues to promote it and shares his original visions and how it has grown.

Many Supernatural fans quickly took to The Boys because of Kripke’s connection. However, not everyone who has watched The Boys has checked out the former yet. This is one if you have plenty of time to watch multiple seasons of a show.

Personally, I still find the first five seasons the strongest. And you’ll see a lot of connections to Good Omens throughout these first five seasons. After this, the storylines become a little weaker but it’s still enjoyable.

There’s the comedy, the foreshadowing, and a storyline of bonds. Family doesn’t end in blood in either show.

You will also want to check out Timeless, which is created by Eric Kripke. This doesn’t quite have the same feel as The Boys, but it’s extremely well made.

Supernatural is available to purchase on Amazon Video or you can watch on Netflix.
