4. Good Omens

This is another show that, at first, you’ll wonder how it could possibly be a great alternative for The Boys. It all comes down to the comedy.

The Boys is violent and graphic, but there are also some extremely hilarious moments. Butcher has the most, but there are some with Frenchie, Mother’s Milk, and others. The show entertains well throughout the violence and the gore.

Good Omens is very much the same. Instead of superheroes doing what they want, Good Omens gives us a world where the apocalypse is about to happen. And not just any apocalypse. It’s the one from the Bible.

We get moments with the Four Horsemen Bikers of the Apocalypse, a demon and an angel are best friends, and the Antichrist has literally gone missing.

The miniseries is full of highs and lows. It’s packed with jokes that not everyone will understand and it’s full of British humor. Plus, there’s the all-star cast just like The Boys offers through Karl Urban and Antony Starr

Think about it carefully, and you’ll see some similarities.

Good Omens is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
