When will The Rhythm Section stream on Amazon Prime Video?
By Mads Lennon
The Rhythm Section is an action-packed new thriller starring Blake Lively and Jude Law. Will you be able to stream it on Amazon Prime Video?
This weekend, The Rhythm Section hits theaters. The movie is based on the Mark Burnell book of the same name and the author wrote the screenplay for the movie as well.
Blake Lively leads the cast as Stephanie Patrick, a woman who lost her entire family to a deadly plane crash. Stephanie discovers that she was supposed to be on the plane and it was not just an accident but an assassination attempt. She attempts to uncover the truth of the conspiracy that murdered her loved ones by assimilating into the life of being an assassin. Apart from Lively, the movie also stars Jude Law and Sterling K. Brown.
The film earned mixed reviews from critics who were thoroughly impressed with Reed Morano’s direction and Lively’s stunning performance, but less enthused by the film’s somewhat muddled storytelling.
If you’re unsure about seeing The Rhythm Section in theaters, you can wait until the movie releases on Amazon Prime Video. Since it is a Paramount Pictures film, it should become available on Prime later on down the line. Previous Paramount movies, Bumblebee, What Men Want, and Wonder Park all eventually transitioned to Amazon Prime.
As for when it might become available, unfortunately, it will be a much longer waiting time than if you were simply waiting for the DVD or Blu-ray release. It will take about eight or nine months, meaning we likely won’t see The Rhythm Section become available to stream until late October or November at the earliest.
