Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: We’re moving into February now, and it’s all about the DC female-led movie, Birds of Prey. From the promos, it does look more like a Harley Quinn movie, but there’s hope that the creators have learned from the mistake of Suicide Squad and will give the other females plenty of screen time.

We also get to see Ewan McGregor as a villain. What’s not to love about that?

Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: For those looking for a horror movie, The Lodge is going to on the radar for many. It comes from Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz, who brought Goodnight Mommy in 2014. Grace heads to a winter lodge along with her boyfriend’s two children. She soon realizes that not everything or everyone is what they seem.

This is going to be one of the chilling psychological thrillers of the year that you just can’t miss out on. However, it is going to be overshadowed by a number of other big releases that weekend.
