Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: With the success of the 2018 sequel that meant all previous sequels never happened, Halloween is back for more. There will be two movies and Halloween Kills is the first of them. Laurie Strode and her grownup daughter are back, ready to take on Michael Myers. Of course, he’s back!

Considering the success of the sequel, it’s not surprising to hear that there are more to come. And with Jamie Lee Curtis back in the lead role, we’re certainly excited.

1. Eternals

Release date: Nov. 6, 2020

Starring: Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Brian Tyree Henry

Why it’s one of the anticipated movies of 2020: Phase 4 of the MCU starts off strong with Black Widow. The next movie in the phase in 2020 is Eternals. We don’t know that much about anything that’s happening, but that makes it all the more exciting.

It’s clear we’ll get to meet new heroes and new villains. With the strong cast, including two Game of Thrones co-stars, there’s no doubt that we’re intrigued by the things to come. Plus, Chloé Zhao is in the director’s chair, giving her the first chance to try out big-budget blockbusters.
