18. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4

While this series is on Hulu, The Handmaid’s Tale does come to Amazon Video eventually. We can assume that the fourth season will, too. And this is certainly one of the most highly anticipated returning TV shows in 2020. Of course, we have no start date yet, but considering Hulu has brought a new season each year, we can assume that Season 4 will arrive sometime in 2020.

This season will see a huge change in Gilead. Some of the children are out and many of the handmaids will be on the run, including June. Not to mention that Commander Joseph is also in some serious trouble for the way he’s helped June and other handmaids over recent years.

And in Canada, children have arrived but Luke will be concerned that June still hasn’t got Hannah out. Will Canada finally step up and help get women and children safe from Gilead?

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 will be available via Amazon Video.

17. Run Season 1

HBO is bringing some exciting new content in 2020. One of the TV shows to look out for is Run, not to be confused with the 2013 series of the same name. This HBO series follows two ex-lovers who go on the run together.

One of the reasons this is so highly anticipated despite not knowing much about it is that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is behind it. Considering the success of Fleabag, we just know that there’s more great things to come. She’s also working with Vicky Jones again, who is the showrunner for the new series.

While there’s no set release date just yet, we know it’s coming sometime in 2020. And we all can’t wait.

Run Season 1 will be available to stream on HBO, via Amazon Channels.
