10 highly anticipated Amazon Originals coming in 2020

It’s a new year, and that means a lot of new Amazon Originals will arrive on Amazon Prime Video. Here are 10 that we’re certainly most excited about.

Last year saw some excellent new Amazon Originals. We also got some great new seasons of old favorites. Now it’s time to look ahead at the new year to see which new shows are heading out way.

Unlike my piece looking at the best new shows from 2019, this isn’t just a look at the new series arriving on Amazon Prime Video in 2020. I want to look at all Amazon Originals, assessing the new seasons of current shows.

Some of the shows on this list don’t have release dates. There’s an assumption by many that they will arrive during this year, so they are on the list. Others have been confirmed for sometime in 2020 but we don’t have the official release dates just yet. All those that have been slated for 2021 and ahead (like The Lord of the Rings) are being left off this list for now.

The list isn’t just about TV shows either. There are some exciting Amazon Original movies coming, with one in particular arriving next week. Here are the 10 most exciting Amazon Originals arriving in 2020.
