2. The Boys

While it’s based on a graphic novel, The Boys has taken off in its own direction. This is a series not for the faint-hearted. If you don’t like a lot of violence, this isn’t going to be for you. However, it is hilarious, exciting, and just downright fun.

In a world where superheroes are celebrities, there’s a team of vigilantes ready to take them down a peg. After all, these superheroes don’t really care about humanity. Just the deals and money they can gain. The vigilantes want to make it clear that isn’t allowed.

1. Good Omens

Finally, it’s all about Good Omens. Those who know me, knew that this would have to be at the top of the list of best Amazon Originals in 2019. That’s mainly because I’m a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and of the novel that the story is based on. Oh, and I love Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

The series ticked all the boxes. It brought the book to life perfectly, while being hilarious, artistically well-made, and an absolute joy to binge-watch. I also love that it’s a miniseries. This is it. Just six episodes of a tale, and it works just right.
