4. Will Joel’s nightclub succeed?

We need to consider the hope for the nightclub in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4. Joel wants this place to succeed but there’s a lot working against him, including the constant power outages.

Joel does have a lot of people on side. The club certainly seemed good for opening night, but that was opening night. There’s a lot of uphill to go before his club becomes a success, and he’s going to need some help from the entertainment industry. One of his best options would be to book Lenny Bruce somehow.

Of course, if the club fails in places, there’s a good chance that Mai will find a way to help. Joel wants to do this alone, but Mai clearly isn’t capable of letting that happen.

3. What’s next for Rose?

Rose has been through many transformations throughout The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Season 3 saw her find some sort of purpose: matchmaking. As she worried about her future, she managed to gain her confidence back after a successful setup.

Now she has decided to take destiny into her own hands. She’s had enough of relying on the men around her. She’s going to make her own money.

My only wish for Rose is that she becomes a better mother to Midge. While she may not agree with Midge being a comedian, it’s time for Rose to at least watch her daughter on stage without being drunk. Can she do that?
