8. Suits Season 9

Yes, we have another DVD and Blu-ray release that is going to complete a collection. There’s another one coming up, just so you’re aware! What is it with the last month of the year bringing final seasons/movies?

Anyway, Suits Season 9 sees Harvey, Louis, Donna, and the rest of the law firm (what’s the name now?) take on one final major case. They need to protect themselves one more time, and Mike Ross may be someone who can help. Patrick J. Adams returns for a couple of episodes as we say our big goodbye.

Not the strongest of the series, it’s still something to add to your collection. Suits: The Complete Series will likely be released on the same day.

7. Ad Astra

Space movies can be hit and miss. Brad Pitt brought one that had a bit of a twist, and was well-received by many, especially critics. He plays the son of an astronaut who wants answers. You see, his father went on a mission and never returned. The whole crew and ship just vanished.

Pitt’s character must head on a dangerous mission to Neptune if he wants to stand the chance of getting answers. There are going to be problems along the way.

Ad Astra is available on DVD and Blu-ray on Dec. 17.
