The Man in the High Castle certainly left us with an ending we wouldn’t forget. The question now is whether the ending was fitting for each character.

Do you ever get that sense that there could have been more? That’s what I’m left with after watching The Man in the High Castle. Not because I’m disappointed with the ending for some characters, but because there’s so much that still could happen.

I’ve already broken down the ending with the portal, explaining what it could mean. It’s ambiguous on purpose, leaving us to debate and theorize. But some of the characters did get some sort of ending to their stories.

I’ll admit now that the two characters I’m most disappointed about are Tagomi and Ed. I wished we could have seen both of them in person during the final season. Tagomi was such an important character for the Japanese storyline, although his death certainly catapulted us into that final season. Ed, meanwhile, was just a great, bright star in a dark world.

But regardless, we’ll have to focus on the main characters in The Man in the High Castle. The ones that we came to know and love. Did they get the endings they deserved?
