2. Queens of Mystery

Love a good murder mystery? Queens of Mystery is the series for you. This Acorn TV Original is just like a stereotypical murder mystery series, and that’s what makes it so fun. There’s even a narrator telling you the story, so you’re going to feel like you’re watching some sort of TV version of Clue.

There are currently six episodes of the series on Acorn TV. Each two episodes will tell a contained storyline, but there is an element of a bigger story that weaves in and out—the mystery of what happened to Matilda Stone’s mother.

You see, Matilda was raised by her three author aunts. They’ve all written private detective stories and view themselves as great sleuths. And maybe they are (you’ll need to watch to find that part out), but they do put Matilda’s job at risk. Matilda is part of the local police department and her boss wants her aunts to stay out of the cases.

It’s an entertaining series that has family at the heart of it. This is just what you need when it comes to Thanksgiving weekend. Plus, you’ll easily binge all six episodes and have time for something else on the streaming service.
