5 good shows to watch on HBO at Thanksgiving weekend
2. Veep
There was no way that we could suggest a list of HBO shows and miss out Veep. The series came to an end this year, rounding out the story in a way that was just perfect for the characters. Yes, it was favored much more than a certain other HBO series that came to an end in 2019.
With seven seasons, you’re not going to get through the entire series during Thanksgiving weekend. However, you will have plenty of episodes to check out with the family.
And did I tell you that it’s a comedy? It’s an American political satire, so there are plenty of over the top moments making fun of politics as a whole and not one particular administration. After all, this is a show that started in 2012!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars as Selina Meyer, the vice president. She and her team attempt to leave a legacy behind, doing something that will define American politics. I’m sure you can imagine the trouble that she and her team cause. Gary Cole, Clea DuVall, Tony Hale, and Anna Chlumsky also star in the series.
Sometimes you just want to be able to laugh. After a long Thanksgiving weekend, you’ll certainly want to put your feet up and giggle. Veep is the show for that.
