There are times that you need a magical world, and that’s what Carnival Row will bring. This is a fantasy series that is 100% original. It’s not based on a book or graphic novel, nor is it based on a previous movie.
Starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, there are multiple stories taking place throughout Carnival Row. It’s initially a love story between Philo and Vignette, the two protagonists, but there’s so much more.
In a Victorian London-like world, fantastical creatures are real. After a war in their homeland, they’ve come to the Burgue for refuge. As you would expect, that’s led to segregation and hatred, all because they’re different.

Tensions start to grow between the humans and the fae. It doesn’t help that someone is killing the fae, and it’s up to Philo to get to the bottom of it.
Meanwhile, there’s a story of class and society. One fae has managed to work his way up into the upper classes, but that hasn’t brought acceptance. In fact, he’s watched all the more suspiciously, but could there be love in the cards?
