Get into the spirit of Thanksgiving by watching one of these great films available to you for free with your Amazon Prime Video membership.

Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away and that means it’s time to start getting into the holiday spirit with a proper movie marathon. It can be hard to find the right movie to watch on Thanksgiving. The bulk of holiday films are geared towards Halloween or Christmas.

It’s even more difficult to find the right movie on Amazon Prime considering the streaming service has several thousand movies available in its catalog. But we did our best to sort through the massive catalog on Amazon Prime to find some of the best movies to watch this Turkey Day.

While some of these movies aren’t technically about Thanksgiving, they may connote certain themes and emotions that are similar to those you might sense on the day of giving.

There are also some films on this list that involve Christmas. Hopefully, they’ll put you in the right mindset for this holiday season!

Before you dive into this list here are a few Thanksgiving movies not on the list due to not being available free with Prime but that you can rent through Amazon Prime Video: Addams Family Values, Hannah and Her Sisters, Spider-Man, The Santa Clause, The Blind Side, Free Birds, Funny People, The Oath, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
