When will Last Christmas come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Last Christmas is now in theaters from today! It is never too early to get into the Christmas spirit and this romantic comedy sure will be a hit.

Halloween is over and it is now time to get into the festive spirit a little early with new Christmas movie Last Christmas, hitting theaters this weekend. A romantic comedy based around Christmas time is the perfect watch for a cold November evening, or a warm evening if you are lucky enough to have good weather!

Perhaps you would prefer to watch in your own home and are waiting for the DVD and Blu-ray release? Sadly Last Christmas will not be available to purchase on DVD in time for Christmas. Following suit of other Universal Studios movies such as A Dog’s Journey and Yesterday it is likely we will see Last Christmas released in three months, which means we’ll get it early February.  A bonus to this is it could be released just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Sometimes digital releases happen one or two weeks before the physical copy versions so hopefully, we can expect this from Last Christmas. This will allow you to purchase through Amazon Video.

Romantic comedies often don’t play well with critics, so if you have seen the reviews for the movie still watch it because they aren’t always fair. Critics are already slamming it with a 44% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad.

With Emilia Clarke starring, I already know I’m going to love this movie and I can’t wait to finally be able to watch it! Other famous faces include Henry Golding, Emma Thompson, Michelle Yeoh, and Rebecca Root.

Kate (Emilia Clarke) is known for being unlucky in life and in relationships, starts a job working as an elf for a store’s Christmas display in London. Even though she has dreams of being a professional singer, she hasn’t been successful and had to accept being an elf.

Whilst working in her new job she meets Tom (Henry Golding) and a possible romance starts to bloom. Kate starts to question herself and the situation she is in because she is used to nothing ever going right. She has to figure out if this is all as it seems and that it might not be the fairy tale she was looking for.
