Will Zombieland: Double Tap be available to stream on Amazon Prime?

Tallahassee, Columbus, Witchita, and Little Rock are back to slay zombies in Zombieland: Double Tap. Will you be able to stream the film on Prime Video?

It’s been 10 years since Zombieland first graced our screens and the sequel has finally arrived. It’s doing pretty well at the box office and with its critical reception too.

It probably helped that the entire original cast from the first movie returned for this one. Plus, the stakes are much higher with the zombies have evolved quite a bit since the 2009 film.

The great thing about the franchise is that it’s fun to rewatch over and over again. Despite some of the freaky zombie moments, these films are hilarious and they make you feel good. It’s no wonder you’re curious about whether or not the sequel will be available to stream free with your Amazon Prime membership.

Because Zombieland: Double Tap is being distributed by Columbia Pictures, we probably will not see it come to Amazon Prime Video. Instead, it will likely go to Starz. Previous Columbia Pictures films like Escape Room, Miss Bala, and Holmes and Watson all became available on Starz about six to seven months after their theatrical release.

We can probably anticipate Zombieland: Double Tap appearing on Starz by May 2020. The good news is, you can get Starz with your Prime Membership.

You’ll need to pay a monthly fee, but you’ll be able to watch the entire Starz library through Amazon Video Channels. You could even do a free trial when the film comes out just to watch it.
