The Deuce: Season 3 premiere

The third and final season of The Deuce will fast-forward to 1984. If you haven’t watched the series yet, now is the perfect time to catch up with a quick binge-watch. The show focuses on the sex-trade industry in New York and the shifting state of the porn business. The show has been beloved by critics since its beginning and it appears the third season may be the shows’ best.

What Happened on September 11

This new documentary film from HBO will take a close look at the catastrophic impact of the 9/11 terror attacks. How did it happen? What was its impact? This is a HBO Family documentary and will explore the events in a way that is watchable for children. It is directed and produced by the Emmy Award-winning Amy Schatz who also produced other HBO documentaries like Song of Parkland and An Apology to Elephants.

In the Shadow of the Towers: Stuyvesant High on 9/11

Following the initial documentary, HBO is airing a short special about the students at Stuyvesant, a prestigious New York public school located close to the World Trade Center. It offers eyewitness accounts from the students who witnessed the tragic event. Eight alumni discuss how they were forever changed by what happened on that fateful day.
