Amazon sets release date for The Family Man on Prime Video

The release date for The Family Man has officially been set. Here’s everything you need to know about the newest Amazon Original from India.

Just days after the release of the promo trailer, Amazon has set the release date for the upcoming Original from India, The Family Man. We knew it was coming out sometime this month and now we have an official date to start binge-watching.

The date is set for Sept. 20, 2019. Considering the success of Made in Heaven and Mirzapur, this is sure to be a series that you want to check out.

Manoj Bajpayee stars in the 10-episode series directed by the duo Raj & DK. This is their digital debut on any streaming platform, which marks yet another reason to check out the series. If you’ve seen their style before, you know that you get humor and quirkiness set within a serious genre.

India’s first spy-thriller, the series is about a middle-class family man caught between his family and the duties for his nation. Bajpayee’s character is Sirkant Tiwari, who works for a government intelligence agency, but he wants to find a way to balance work and family life. It’s something all parents can relate to, and does have a sense of Die Hard with this particular element of the storyline.

The Family Man has already impressed at the Television Critics Association in L.A. Many critics were impressed with the acting, the narrative, and the development of the series. Now you’ll get to see it all for yourself.
