Amazon Prime Video had a worldwide outage last night and it was worse than Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram going down at once!

Last night, Amazon Prime Video suffered a worldwide outage. Fans of various Amazon Originals took to Twitter to group together, trying to figure out if it was just their account or whether it was an Amazon problem. One thing is for certain: this was worse than Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all going down at once.

Many fans went into a panic, sharing that they were partway through a binge-watch of their favorite shows. Considering there are the likes of The Boys, The Expanse, and Good Omens on the streaming service, it’s not surprising there were some disappointed fans. These are all shows that require a binge-watch because of all the intense and exciting storylines.

Fans of Amazon Originals did take to Twitter to share some humor. One user pointed out that the streaming service going down meant that they had to interact with other people. That’s the worst, right? Others mentioned that they temporarily turned to Netflix because, well, what else were we meant to watch?

Others reported weird glitches rather than just the service being completely down. While some titles weren’t available, others were supposed to be Prime titles but were asking fans to pay for them. Fortunately, we have Twitter to turn to so we can find out what’s going on instead of paying for something we don’t need to!

Amazon did share an update when the service went down on its website. This made it clear that the outage was on a large scale and that the company knew about it. It didn’t take too long to fix the problem, with people sharing that the service was back up within a couple of hours. However, it was a loooooong couple of hours, right?
