9. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan

Canceled or renewed: Shortly before the first season aired, the series was renewed for a second. It has since been renewed for a third, even though we’re waiting for Jack Ryan Season 2 to premiere.

What it’s about: Based on the books by Tom Clancy, the series follows Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst who realizes that there’s more to some bank transfers than anyone else things. He finds himself on a mission in the Middle East, which could make or break him.

8. Bosch

Canceled or renewed: The show was renewed for a sixth season last year, ahead of the Season 5 premiere.

What it’s about: Based on the novels focusing on the detective, Bosch, the series follows an LAPD homicide detective and veteran. His first case is to solve the disappearance of a 13-year-old boy. However, like all Amazon Originals that have been running for some time, this series has developed from that thanks to the extensive source material.

7. Sneaky Pete

Canceled or renewed: Sneaky Pete was sadly canceled after three seasons on Amazon Prime Video.

What it’s about: This is one of those Amazon Originals that has developed beautifully throughout its run. It all starts with a conman getting out of prison and pretending to be his cellmate, the long-lost nephew Pete. He thinks it should be a good life, but he soon finds out that skeletons in Pete’s and his own closets come back to haunt him.
