A Vigilante (2019)

In this female-directed film, Olivia Wilde stars as a vigilante who is driven to help victims of domestic abuse escape the violence plaguing their lives. At present, the movie sits at a high rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, with Wilde receiving praise for her exceptional performance.

Dino Dana: Season 3

If your kids need something new to watch this weekend, they can now watch all three seasons of Dino Dana on Prime Video! The third season was just released and contains even more adventures from the nine-year-old paleontologist.

She continues her journey to learn everything she can about dinosaurs and prehistoric animals of all kinds.

After Darkness (2018)

Don’t miss Stranger Things star, Natalia Dyer, in this science fiction film about the aftermath of the sun burning out and leaving the world cast in darkness. The movie centers around a typical American family who must fight to survive the impending apocalypse caused by this devastating event.

Pennyworth: Season 1 premiere

  • Starring: Jack Bannon, Ben Aldridge, Paloma Faith, and Ryan Fletcher

Pennyworth is the highly-anticipated new DC series based on the story of Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Except this series is based in 1960s London before Alfred began to work with Bruce. This follows his relationship with Bruce’s father, Thomas. The first season follows Alfred, a former British SAS soldier, as he begins his work with the Wayne family.

For the time being, you can watch the premiere episode for free with your Amazon Prime membership. However, if you want to continue to watch the season every week (new episodes air on Sundays) you will need to sign up for the EPIX channel add-on.

Widows (2018)

Widows is an excellent new thriller about four armed robbers who wind up dead after a failed heist. They each leave behind a widow who now has to contend with the debt accrued by their criminal husbands. The women band together and attempt to take their fate into their own hands by any means necessary. Gillian Flynn, the author of Gone Girl, pens the screenplay.
