This weekend you’ll want to cancel your plans and stay indoors so you can binge the first season of superhero-comedy, The Boys, on Amazon Prime Video.

It’s the final weekend of July and Amazon has just dropped the first season of its highly-anticipated new series, The Boys. You can now binge it in full through Amazon Prime Video.

In even better news, once you’ve watched the entire thing, you don’t even have to stress out about the show being canceled or renewed! Amazon granted the series an early Season 2 renewal at SDCC.

But if The Boys isn’t your speed, we have a few more suggestions you can check out to keep you entertained all weekend.

The Boys: Season 1

  • Starring: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Elisabeth Shue

Obviously, The Boys is the hot ticket item this weekend. With neither Hulu or Netflix offering much in way of new content, The Boys doesn’t have much competition ahead. The show follows a group of vigilantes who have to keep superheroes in check. The Boys is unlike any other “superhero” show you’ve seen as it has a distinctive black comedy tone. The series is based on a graphic novel.

In a world where superheroes let fame and notoriety go to their heads, their egos can sometimes make them do crazy things, almost villainous things. The series is created by Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. It is already garnering tons of positive buzz and, as mentioned earlier, received a season two renewal.

Watch it if you love: Preacher, Marvel’s Runaways, HellboyKick-Ass, Lucifer, or Sin City
