12. Banshee
Banshee is an action crime thriller series based in the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania. A couple, Anastasia (Ivana Miličević) and Lucas (Antony Starr) were caught while attempting robbery. Lucas had to serve time in prison whilst Anastasia managed to escape and disappear with millions of dollars worth of diamonds.
Fast forward 15 years later, he is released from prison and tracks down Anastasia, who lives in Banshee. Lucas then steals a dead sheriff’s identity to avoid being detected by Anastasia’s father, who is a crime lord and wants to kill them both for double-crossing him, also for the missing diamonds.
Banshee has four seasons with 38 episodes. If you are looking for an action crime series filled with suspense then it could be for you.

After their mother’s death, two sisters return to their hometown to find not everything is really what it was. The now-deceased mother who abandoned her daughter for being gay, was actually gay herself and unknowingly to them, had a wife.
Not only that but the sisters have a lot to work on. Maintaining a failing business left by their mother and living in Los Angeles’ Latino community, they have to learn who they are as people while feeling like an outsider.
Vida displays a lot of much-needed representation for the LGBTQ and Latinx community. A show about hitting reset on your life in adulthood and finding yourself, it is really worth the watch.
Vida is currently running through its second season and has 12 episodes so far. It has an episode out every Sunday through Starz with the final episode airing on June 23, 2019. Season 3 has been confirmed.
