20. Outlander
If you are up for a historical fantasy show with tons of romance and time travel, then this is a perfect show for you. With brutal battle scenes and drama to go alongside, it can become quite addictive and worthy of a binge-watch session. Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), who is a World War ll nurse travels from 1946 to 18th-century Scotland where she then meets a group of Scottish Highlanders, including Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
The same Jamie that she then goes on to fall in love and marry, sounds cute? Well, it is except Claire already has a husband in her own time frame…making things a little more complicated.
This is the reason why Outlander has four seasons and 55 episodes. Season 5 only began shooting back in April so you have plenty of time to catch up for Season 5.
You can start watching Outlander now with a Starz subscription on Amazon Channels. For just $8.99 per month, you can watch some excellent series and movies, starting with a seven-day free trial!
19. Dexter
Have you ever slightly wondered what goes on in the mind of a serial killer? Well with eight seasons and 96 episodes here is your chance. Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall, is indeed a serial killer but with an exception. He only hunts down those who deserve to die. This twist has us strangely rooting for a serial killer as he hunts down some of Miami’s worst, including rapists and other serial killers.
Dexter is a forensic blood splatter analyst, giving him the tools and knowledge to find most of his victims. However, keeping his identity secret while working so closely to those that are trying to catch him proves to be very difficult.
Most seasons have Dexter attempting to solve a core mystery that involves other killers. The show is gripping and dark but completely original so you never know what is going to happen. It will also have you questioning your own morals and analyzing issues from the mind of Dexter yourself.
You can watch Dexter through Amazon Channels with a Showtime subscription for $8.99 per month starting with a seven-day free trial.
