Starring: Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Jeremie Harris

What it’s about: David Haller was diagnosed with schizophrenia when he was young and that caused trouble growing up. Finally feeling like he has a handle on the voices in his head, Legion soon proved otherwise. After all, the voices weren’t in his head! The second season picks up from the back of the first, with the search for the Shadow King beginning.

Why get it: Those who loved the first season will definitely want to pick up the DVD and Blu-ray for the second. Legion Season 2 continued the high-intensity roller coaster ride. It was full of well-written episodes, intricate plotlines, and excellent acting.

5. If Beale Street Could Talk

What it’s about: When a young couple get ready to start their married life together, they find out they’re expecting a baby before they’re married. However, this is the 1970s and Alonzo is accused of a crime before they can marry. Tish needs to help prove his innocence, but is it possible before their wedding day or child’s birth?

Why get it: Those who love movies that tell some of the darker points of the past wil certainly want to get If Beale Street Could Talk. It’s a story of love, struggles, and expectations. This is one for those who love rich layers, beautiful cinematography, and excellent writing.
