When it’s released: Mar. 5, 2019 (Digital released Feb. 12)

Starring: Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Hoult, Joe Alwyn

What it’s about: Set in the 1700s when England and France are at war, Abigail decides to use the times to her advantage. She forms a friendship with Lady Sarah, who deals with Queen Anne’s demands and runs the country secretly. Abagail is quickly introduced into Queen Anne’s life and has the chance to restore her own status as an aristocrat.

Why get it: If you love historical fiction with a twist, The Favourite is the movie you want. It’s a comedy at heart. While not completely historically accurate, it was never meant to be and takes pleasure in not being. This is purely for entertainment and you’ll get a chance to see Colman’s Oscar-winning performance.

7. Midnight, Texas Season 2

When it’s released: Mar. 26, 2019

Starring: Francois Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Peter Mensah, Jason Lewis

What it’s about: Midnight, Texas originally started as a series about a Romani psychic seeking refuge in the titular town. Of course, the series grew from there and the second season picks up with Manfred discovering his dreams are actually very real. Midnight’s peace is very quickly disrupted when Kai and Patience, an energy healer an dhis wife, appear. That leads to a new bunch of followers when they open a new spa retreat.

Why get it: This is the final season of the NBC series, so if you already have the first DVD and Blu-ray set then you’ll want to make sure you complete your collection. Not heard of it yet? Get the complete collection, which is also released on Mar. 26. It’s perfect for those who love supernatural shows with a slightly more adult storyline.
