6. The Time Traveler’s Wife
I know that this is cringe-worthy for some, but The Time Traveler’s Wife remains one of my favorite rom-coms that has landed on Amazon Prime Video this month. Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana are perfect together, showing off their acting chops against each other.
Bana is Henry, a man with a genetic condition that causes him to travel through time. While it sounds like fun, he has no control over when and where he goes, which makes life extremely difficult. However, he’s routinely drawn to Claire (McAdams).
As the two fall in love, they have to deal with the difficult of Henry’s time traveling. Can they start a family together and will they work through their problems?

5. An Officer and a Gentleman
An Officer and a Gentleman is a 1982 movie with still plenty of reasons to watch now. Richard Gere is a new U.S. Navy recruit with a bad attitude. He meets Sgt. Emil Foley after signing up to the Aviation Academy, where he gains a rude awakening to life.
One thing that comes from his time is that Zack Mayo learns all about romance and how to treat women. He learns how to be an officer and a gentleman, which helps him woo Debra Winger’s Paula.
4. Benny and Joon
This isn’t your more traditional Valentine’s Day movie. Benny looks after his mentally disturbed sister, Joon. When she requests Sam is moved into the house, Benny agrees but soon realizes that the two have started a relationship.
With Sam kicked out of the house, Joon decides to run away with her love. However, Sam realizes that Joon needs more support than he can offer her. It’s a story of familial and romantic love, of accepting limitations and reaching for dreams.
