20. What Men Want

Directed by: Adam Shankman

Starring: Taraji P. Henson, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Max Greenfield

Date arriving: Feb. 8, 2019

Why we need to watch it: We don’t have to wait too long for What Men Want. This is one of those stories that sees the truth of the gender pay gap and success at work. Despite being successful, Ali Davis is boxed out of leads and roles at work by her male colleagues. Because she’s female, they don’t thinks he deserves it and any female who has worked in a male-dominated role will understand this.

However, don’t expect to see Ali accept it and move on. She’s going to prove who’s boss in her role and put her whole life to the test if she wants to succeed in work. It’s going to be a movie to watch to see if she really can have it all.

19. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Directed by: Dean DeBlois

Starring: ay Baruchel, America Fererra, Cate Blanchett, Kit Harington, and Kristen Wiig

Date arriving: Feb. 22, 2019

Why we need to watch it: We’re onto another animated movie. This is another sequel, but it’s one that has been wished for. In fact, this is a movie that is going to wrap up the franchise completely. Even the trailer says its the last one.

You’re going to want to see Toothless’ final flight. This time, he’ll come across a female dragon similar to him and he acts just as gormless-in-love as we’ve all been. Hiccup takes control to find a new world, save more people, and give us an ending we’ve needed from the very beginning.

It’s another movie that parents will be pulling their children to see. You have my permission to be honest with yourself about that.
