3. The Hungover Games

This is one of those perfectly apt movies for New Year’s Day. The Hungover Games is everything that you need from a corny parody movie. It’s not as good as Scary Movie, but this is all about poking fun at some of the biggest releases. And this time it’s two genres that you wouldn’t expect to work together.

The Hungover Games is exactly what you’d expect to be a mixture of. When a group of friends head off on a bachelor party, they wake up the next morning with one missing and stuck in a dystopian future. Yes, during their drunken state while taking part in bachelor activities, the group of friends volunteered as tribute and now have to face off against the various Hollywood districts.

It’s everything you would expect from a parody movie. A mixture between The Hangover and The Hunger Games, the movie is full of corny one-liners, a collection of best moments from the two movies, and plenty of name drops.

There’s no need to spend anything to get The Hungover Games for your New Year’s Day enjoyment. It’s available as part of your Amazon Prime membership. If you don’t have one yet, you can get a 30-day free trial, so you get to watch for nothing.
