3. The Eve

If you’re looking for a thriller for the night, it’s another movie that is available with your Amazon Prime membership. The Eve is one of those low-budget thrillers that focuses on the storyline and character development, leaving you wondering how the “villain” of the movie is. Well, for the first half of the movie, you’ll be left wondering. After that, it can get a little predictable but it’s fun to see if your theory was right.

Those who love the fast-paced thrillers aren’t going to enjoy this as much. The Eve is about the slow build and development. It’s about the story telling and there isn’t much in the way of violence and bloodshed on the screen. Much is left to the imagination, which can make it a movie for the older teens to watch with you.

At first, you’ll start thinking this is a typical New Year’s Eve thriller. You’ll be led to believe that this is more of an I Know What You Did Last Summer but set at the end of the year. Instead, there’s a twist that leaves you wanting more and needing to see it through to the end.

Plus, remember that you’re not wasting money on this. There’s no need to feel worried about putting it on for the night. It’s all part of your current subscription. It’s one of those low-budget thrillers that you may be pleasantly surprised about.
