2. Happy New Year, Charlie Brown

When you want something that is already available with your Amazon Prime membership, it’s all about Happy New Year, Charlie Brown. It’s the night of Peppermint Patty’s big New Year’s Eve party but Charlie Brown still has homework to do. He can’t go until he finishes that homework.

At the same time, he really wants to go so he can dance with the little red-haired girl. Can he finish “War and Peace” in time?

Happy New Year, Charlie Brown isn’t technically a movie. It’s a 24-minute episode of Peanuts, but it’s often considered a movie for the children. Yes, it’s something for the whole family to watch and is a perfect way to wind down the night for those not quite old enough to celebrate the New Year with you. I know it’s something for our children to watch as we celebrate the British seeing the New Year in with their grandparents.

Not only is it a sweet movie to see the New Year in, but there are lessons for your children. Charlie Brown can be an excellent role model, especially with his friends.
