2. It’s a Wonderful Life

It’s a Wonderful Life is available on Amazon Prime Video and most definitely one you’ll want to watch on Christmas Eve. This isn’t for the whole family, but the older teens and adults in the house will greatly appreciate it.

The 1946 movie stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a banker in a desperate situation. On Christmas Eve, he starts to wonder whether life is really worth it. Would his family be better off without him? And as he contemplates jumping off a bridge, his friends and family members all pray to God for help.

God certainly listens, sending angel Clarence to help show George the way. Throughout the movie, he sees what life would have been like without him around. Sure enough, small actions that George made had some big, positive impacts in the life of others, including saving the life of his brother.

This is a heartfelt movie, showing the magic of Christmas. It will definitely make you think again about the impact you’ve had on life.

It’s a Wonderful Life is now available with your Prime membership in both color or black and white. I prefer the black and white original personally, but you may want to watch the remastered. It’s completely up to you. Hey! You may find yourself loving the movie so much that you watch both.
