3. Jack Frost

One movie the kids are sure to love (and something that is available with your Amazon Prime membership) is Jack Frost. Make sure you put on the 1998 version with Michael Keaton as the titular character, an aging rocker with no time for his wife and son.

One Christmas Day, Jack dies unexpectedly in a car accident. A year later, his son, Charlie, decides to play a tune on his dad’s harmonica and sure enough, the magic of Christmas steps in for a heart-warming movie. Frost is brought back, but as the snowman on the lawn.

This movie has the message of love and family, it’s what Christmas is all about. Jack and Charlie (Joseph Cross) have the chance to make up for the lost years, but how long will that last?

The graphics are everything you’d expect from a 1998 movie (along with the fashion) but that’s not the reason you’ll all want to watch this. It pulls at the heartstrings and makes you think more about what you want to achieve out of life; what family means to you.

Jack Frost will make you think of your own children and your parents. It’s the best movie to end the night with the family, as they go to bed thinking about all the fun and laughter Jack and Charlie got up to and what being part of a family really means.
