5. Christmas with the Kranks

This is the perfect year to watch Christmas with the Kranks on Amazon Prime, as it’s leaving the streaming service from Jan. 1, 2019. You’ll only be able to rent or buy next year.

Starring Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd, and M. Emmet Walsh, the movie is the perfect comedy for those with just adults or the older teens in the house. It’s a comedy focusing on the crazy commercialism of Christmas.

When Luther and Nora Krank (Allen and Curtis) decide they don’t want to take part in the annual traditions this year, they decide to take a trip to the Caribbean. Of course, their neighbors aren’t happy with that idea. Vic Frohmeyer (Aykroyd) and Walk Scheel (Walsh) put the pressure on to make sure the Kranks do everything as normal. All the neighbors want is to win the “Best-Decorated Street” competition for the year.

What happens when the Kranks decide not to take part? Well, you can bet there’s plenty of humor and trouble involved.

To top it all off, their daughter decides she’s going to come home for Christmas. With 12 hours to go, Christmas is back on. Can they manage it?
