4. The Sinner Season 2
Moving onto a TV show, it’s all about The Sinner Season 2. Jessica Biel didn’t return for the second season, so there’s no focus on Cora for this one (sorry, fans of the first season), but that didn’t stop the season from being just as intriguing.
This season saw Detective Ambrose investigate the murder of a young boy. He soon realizes that this boy is no ordinary 11-year-old, nor is the place that he came from. Ambrose finds himself down the rabbit hole of dark secrets in his hometown. And who is the mysterious woman who is clearly some major part in the puzzle?
If you haven’t seen the first season, you need to get it immediately! Then you can follow up with The Sinner Season 2. You won’t be disappointed.

3. Mars Season 2
Another TV show to get on DVD is National Geographic’s Mars Season 2. It’s a modern-day telling of a space race to Mars (well, duh, right?!) and mixes fictional story and non-fictional documentary-style filming to bring a fresh perspective to TV.
While the first season had uneven storytelling, all that has been fixed in the second season. There’s far more drama, and more love and loss while on Mars. Far more is at stake than before, drawing you into each episode. Plus, there are more non-fictional elements that beautifully mirror the fictional storyline.
If you love seeing what could be mixed with what’s actually happened, you’ll enjoy this series. It takes a space story and twists it on its head in ways you could never imagine.
